Artist Statement

"In essence, art is the unspoken language of feelings. You either feel a piece of art or you don't. Art is intuitive — a universal system of communication."

Emotions have no form or technique. Souls don't have any shapes. Everything I make begins in this understanding — that what matters most in us cannot be drawn, measured, or held, and yet it is the only thing worth reaching for.

My work is a long inquiry into human sensing: into what we feel, how we come to feel it, and what passes between two people in the fragile moment a feeling travels from one heart to another. Every act of communication, whatever its surface, exists to carry feeling, and when this purpose is forgotten, we begin to misread one another, and from that misreading flows a pain the world never needed. This is where art finds its quiet work. Slowly, patiently, it teaches us to sense again, and what it recovers, it returns to us clarified, drawing us closer to each other and to ourselves.

What I pursue has no shape, so it cannot be described, only evoked. I work by implication: the whole speaks, not the detail. A piece should arrive in the viewer all at once, complete, before analysis has time to begin. If the message is not felt instantly, it has betrayed its own purpose. What I hope to leave behind is a recognition that needs no words, the quiet surprise of encountering something you have always known but never seen.

Above all, I am drawn to timelessness. Endurance is not enough, anything can simply last. What is rare is the work that stays alive: still fresh, still true, still speaking long after the moment that made it has passed. A thought, a song, a garment, a painting: each can achieve it, perhaps because feeling itself is timeless, and what moved a soul a thousand years ago moves us still, undiminished.

My materials are what I sense, what I think, and what I live. Everything else is technique, and emotions have none.
